Root Canals

A root canal is a dental procedure used to treat and save a tooth that is severely decayed or infected. It involves removing the damaged or infected pulp from inside the tooth, cleaning and disinfecting the root canals, and then filling and sealing them to prevent further infection.
Root canals are typically performed to relieve pain and restore the tooth’s function, allowing it to remain in place rather than being extracted. After the procedure, the tooth is often restored with a crown or filling for added strength and protection. Root canals are highly effective, and with proper care, the treated tooth can last a lifetime, maintaining a natural appearance and functionality.
